I got the train from Rochdale ended up on earlier train by the time i got into Moston i noticed i left my match ticket at home were kinda gutted last time that happened were Sheffield Wednesday Away 2010/2011 season. I had to get train from Salford to Preston then train to Blackpool South which is closest station to Bloomfield. After being given loads of wrong directions i eventually found were i was stopping
My evening ended up being in Mcdonalds with 2 hamburgers and 1 Chicken Mayo some fries and a milkshake just across the road from the ground after getting my duplicate ticket Richard Wild were very helpful that night because i offered my services on programmes a couple of weeks before it were a different experience a Leeds fan though my Rochdale scarf were a Chelsea scarf then just before i went into the game Richard offered me a lift back for the next day
England were trying to walk the ball into the net but Northern Ireland were having non of it during the first half then England ended up going 1-0 up thanks to a class goal from Wickham it made Northern Ireland go very defensive just before half time then i saw a Carlisle Fan would had traveled to Blackpool for the match. He were not happy about Carlisle’s Form and we also discussed about Ex-Rochdale players who played for Both Clubs the likes of Hackney were brought up. I said to him it could be worse he could of been Rochdale last season
I went back into the match for the 2nd half were England were dominating the play then there very poor tackle from Northern Defender in 73rd minute in the box which saw England get a Penalty the penalty taker were Benik Afobe who were from England U19s set-up who scored the winner in 75th minute then England carried on dominating the play missing some good chances
The Attendance were announced at 8,000 something and Tom Ince got Man Of The Match then Referee Blew for Full Time
