I got to Spotland Stadium for 4.37PM the coach arrived at 4.49PM then once everyone got on it set off, The journey wasn’t too bad apart from the massive queue which delayed the Journey by least 45 Minutes.
We eventually arrived at The Alexandra Stadium for 6.46PM
Before Kick Off i went to get a Team Sheet then went into the ground were i got possibly one of the worst pies in the league which were £2.70 & possibly one of the nicest coffee’s in the league which were £1.70
The Match kicked off and Saw the Vanishing Spray make it’s first ever appearance in English Football which happened to be a Crewe Free-Kick, Then in the 42nd Minute of the game Matty Done scored the first goal of the Match then whistle went for Half Time.
2nd Half got underway Crewe Alexandra started to look like Accrington Stanley, then just 19 Minutes into 2nd Half in 64th Minute Peter Vincenti scored, Crewe missed a open net not once but twice they were terrible, 24 Minutes later an tap in came from Calvin Andrew in the 88th Minute everyone were in shock or surprised then whistle went for Full Time.
Got the coach back eventually got to Spotland Stadium just before 10.40PM

***Away Day Review International Special: Wales Under 21 v England Under 21(UEFA EURO 2015 Qualifier) @ Liberty Stadium***
I left Rochdale Train Station at 08.04AM The train were packed and i though Football Day’s were bad for congestion, I arrived with 40 minutes to spare so walked straight to Manchester Piccadilly then popped by Gregg’s for Breakfast were i got an Sausage Bap and an Latte for £2 then wen to Platform 9 and had Breakfast while waiting for the Swansea Train to come in.
I got the 9.30AM Train to Swansea the Journey felt like it were forever, I had my pre-packed lunch on the train down at 12PM then Train arrived in Swansea for 1.55PM, I got an expensive Taxi to the Hotel Ibis on Fabian Way. I ended up with an Cardiff City Fan till around 3PM then at 4PM after a pint in Yates i made my way to the Stadium which took around 40 Minutes as i got lost more than once.
Then 5PM i got a pint at The Harvester while waiting for the Programmes to go out on Sale from FA Wales, Then made my made in the ground the stewards were very helpful and got me into the away section of the stadium, They were only expecting 200 England Fans, I found my seat and chilled out taking pre-match warm up shots of the Players who were out in the ground. Then nipped and got a pie i forgot it were Premier League rates for Food and ended up charged £3.60 for a pie on it’s own there were no Alcohol on Sale yet again due to The FA and FA Wales disallowing it again.
The players entered the Pitch at 7.15PM and sung both countries respective national anthem’s “God Save Our Queen” being first for some reason even though England were the Away side
The Match Kicked Off at 7.30PM, England were very dominant and keep procession of the Ball during the first half with loads attempts on goal then in 17th Minute Nathan Redmond scored an stunning goal what silenced the welsh crowd but just 2 Minutes later in the 19th Minute they equalized thanks to Wales Midfielder Gwion Edwards and the welsh fans were singing again chants like “We hate England” and various other chants, then in 37th Minute Nathan Redmond put England 1-2 infront there were an applause from the England Fans, The Welsh Fans went totally silent then the referee blown for Half Time.
The 2nd Half got underway 11 Minutes into the Match saw England Striker Danny Ings substituted for Saido Berahino just 3 Minutes later saw England Defender James Ward-Prowse Yellow Carded, England were still dominating the match then just 11 Minutes later England Defender Nathaniel Chalobah were Yellow Carded in 70th Minute England Midfielder Tom Ince were substituted for England Striker Harry Kane who were on for just 6 Minutes before ending up injured and Substituted for England Midfielder Jake Caskey who made his debut in 85th Minute it looked like pretty much game over as all the Welsh Fans were leaving the Match so i put my Camera away then in 90+2 Minute of the 4 Minutes added time England scored an 3rd Goal and the stand were rocking then the Referee blown for Full Time.
After the match i ended up waiting nearly 45 Minutes for a Taxi to get back to Hotel Ibis as i weren’t walking back in the rainy weather, i managed to get an picture with England Striker Danny Ings while i were waiting, i ended up back at the hotel for near enough 11PM i got a pint of fosters to celebrate the win
at 11.10PM i decided to call it a night and went to my room to chill out and fall asleep watching Family Guy, i also took an International selfie
The Next Morning i got up early served the internet for about 20 Minutes then went sightseeing aswell as Breakfast hunting it were a trek from Fabian Way back into the centre on the way i stopped off at Sainsbury’s and got an Junior Breakfast with an latte what i demolished in no time then carrying on walking till i reached the city centre i ended up having 1 hour 30 minutes to drain Swansea City Centre who be a shoppers paradise for any woman
I got to the train station for 11.17AM my Train back to Manchester Piccadilly weren’t due in till 11.55AM i ended up getting the train on way back at Cardiff Central i got an snap of the outside of the Millennium Stadium that’s when an blonde pretty student lawyer sat opposite me on the table bit we were talking for abit then she changed at Newport as she were heading into London, Then a pretty Brunette Sports Student got on and sat opposite me we were both heading into Manchester, we talked about alsorts so the hours just flew by she were heading back to Leeds Met the Total Journey took 3 Hours 20 Minutes i arrived into Manchester for 3.15PM then walked down to Manchester Victoria were i ended up getting the 4.48 Train direct to Rochdale i got back for just after 5PM then walked to Bus Stop and got home at 5.40PM
My Man of the Match – Nathan Redmond

***Away Day Review International Special: England Under 21 v Wales Under 21 (UEFA Under 21 European Championship Czech Republic 2015 Qualifier) @ Pride Park Stadium (Ipro Stadium)***
I left mine at 10.42AM, then got into town and walked up the road to the train station were i ended up missing the 11.04AM train and ended up getting the 11.14AM Train to Manchester Victoria then reached Manchester Victoria were i again had to walk to Manchester Piccadilly to get the 12.20PM Train. I passed an familiar football ground on the way i think the club is now stranded in The Skrill Northern Conference League. Then i had to change at Sheffield to get 1.24PM Train to Derby.
I Arrived at Derby just before 2PM this gave me time to find the stadium and see if any England Fans were knocking about before Kick Off. Then i walked to Pride Park which wasn’t far at all i got to the stadium at approximately 2.19PM.
I walked around the entire stadium looking to buy a Football Programme from the International Qualifier Derby Match between England & Wales but they didn’t seem to have any in which were meant very unprepared for this Fixture at Pride Park Stadium at 3.18PM. I met Ex-England Goalkeeper David James who’s now an pundit for BT Sport. He were an nice fellow.
Then at 4.15 Wales Under 21’s arrived at Pride Park i ended up meeting their Manager Garaint William who signed my Football Programme, He were very nice guy along with the 8 Wales Under 21 Footballers. Then i ended up seeing Ex-England & Wales Midfielder Owen Hardgreaves who also signed my Football Programme. He were also a pundit for BT Sport. The England coach arrived at 4.49PM. The players got off. But this time we didn’t have a grumpy Stuart Pearce. We had Gareth Southgate who were happy to sign people’s Football Programme’s. I told him i were planning on doing Czech Republic and he said to me “We’ll make sure we do our Best” That made me happy. Then i entered the ground to find The FA sanctioned a dry stadium meaning no Alcohol were being served or on sale. I got a Coffee & Pie it came to £5 which is cheap for a Football Club which club be playing in the Premier League Next Season.
I were in the Stadium for 5.09PM this gave me plenty of time to find my seat then which were an very nice view. I were glad i chosen the seat months in advance. Then took a couple of Pictures as Wales came out to Warm-Up for the Match and Then ended up seeing England Under 21’s Coach Gareth Southgate again were i got a Picture with him before Kick Off.
Then i took to my seat and waiting for Kick Off took a couple More Pictures
Then i saw the National Flags of Wales & England enter the Pitch at 5.48PM.
Then the Players entered the Pitch at 5.55PM
Then just a Minute later Both Wales and England sung respective National Anthem’s.
Then England & Wales did the Fair Play Handshakes and Exchanged Pennants before Kick Off…
Then the game kicked off England were very dominant and controlled the Match despite Key Players like Will Hughes, Wilfred Zaha & Danny Ings The Match at Half Time ended being 0 – 0 either side looked like they were gonna score their were a few efforts which missed then at Half Time i saw Patrick Bamford & Harry Kane who were sat in the stand just before the 2nd half got under way…
Then the second half got under way England looked alot stronger compared to the Wales team. This saw Nathan Redmond score just 12 Minutes into the second half in 56th Minute. It were a brilliant goal then just 11 Minutes later in 67th Minute Danny Ings came on for Saido Berahino and then just 5 Minutes later which i though were the Best sub of the Match were Will Hughes coming on for the overrated Ravel Morrison on the 71st Minute which left me thinking why wasn’t Scott Hogan called up for the Fixture then just 3 Minutes after that Sub Liam Moore replaced Nathaniel Chalobah in the 74th Minute Wales had made their last Subs but didn’t look capable of scoring on Jack Butland who kept a Clean Sheet
Then the Match finished so i made my way to the station and ended up getting the 8.11PM Train were i got a celebratory Guinness which cost me around £3.45 but yet again the train is expensive
Then i arrived in Sheffield 8.45PM to find the train i needed wasn’t running due to some landslade outside of Sheffield which mean i were waiting an whole hour for the 10.11PM Train which ended up getting me back to Manchester Piccadilly just after 11.00PM. This meant i had missed my Train home and had to get the last Tram home from Manchester, Just my luck i caught the last tram but it were Rochdale via Oldham the journey took ages. I got back just after Midnight then jumped in nearest taxi home.
I’m currently saving up to go to The Actual UEFA Under 21 European Championship which will be held in Czech Republic in June 2015…
