***Away Day Review: Exeter Civil Service FC 6 – 0 Crediton United AFC (Devon Tour) Part 1***

I left Rochdale Train at 8.50AM which got me 9.08AM went to the tram station and waited for a tram to Manchester Pic i eventually got one then i got to Manchester Pic for around 9.50AM then enquired what platform my train would be on which i were informed it were Platform 9 i had 15 Minutes to spare so i went over to burger King and got a breakfast meal with a latte this came to a very expensive £5.20 this were even with my bite card discount, before i went to get my train i ended up seeing a Charlton Athletic Fan we spoke at how our team’s are getting on he said BWP had went off form so they loaned him out to Brentford then i got the train to Newport the journey were smooth but felt very long even though it were 3 Hours Long, i got into Newport Train Station 1 hour early than my scheduled train which were kinda gutted because booking the hour earlier train i would of probably missed it, at 2.44PM i got the train from Newport to Bristol Temple Meads were i ended opposit a cheerleader who were going a National Event she were saying here friends were doing some Cheering at The Millennium Stadium, She were from down London she had a damn fine accent also looked abit like texas off Hollyoaks, I got into Bristol Temple Meads for 3.20PM were i got the 3.44PM i saw it pointless getting off at Exeter St David’s because Newton Abbot were alot closer to Paignton, as i left Exeter St David’s, loads of Bradford Fans were just waiting there which wasn’t a good sign for the one’s returning from Home Park by the time i had reached Newton Abbott i counted atleast 50 Police Officers and believe or not there were Bradford Fans abusing them from my side of the platform, i wasn’t feeling to good because a sore throat killed in during the journey

  2. Nice blog Mark pity I was unable to be at the game on Monday as I was working. Glad you enjoyed the game and the visit to Exeter. If you consider coming down again next season contact Mark Willey or myself and we can probably arrange a cheaper taxi although I walk from St Davids Station to Foxhayes when we are home, it takes about 10 minutes. Next season we will have changed our name to Exwick Villa FC as our Civil Service Club has now been purchased by the Exeter College and extensive building work will be completed over the next year which should realise a brilliant Sports Academy and hopefully an upgrade on what is already an excellent playing surface.
