***Away Day Review FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Special: Ashton United 1 – 1 Salford City @ Hurst Cross***
I got the 11.07AM bus to Rochdale it arrived into Rochdale at 11.15AM, Then i got the 11.32AM to Oldham. It aarived into Oldham Bus Station at 12.03PM, I had 40 Minutes to spare so went around Oldham for bit then got the 12.43PM Bus to Hurst Cross but this left 7 Minutes late so 12.50PM.
I Arrived at Hurst Cross for 1.15 to find out nothing had actually been sorted felt like a wasted trip at first so i went into the Royal Oak which were showing the Merseyside Derby, They didn’t have Guinness as it wasn’t popular up there so i got a Fosters Top which were only 2 Pound then i went into the Ashton United Social Club at 3.17PM were i managed to get a Guinness but it were 3 Pounds.
I ended up in the Ground at 3.41PM were i didn’t really miss much as it were 0-0 either side looked like scoring, I awaited the magic of The FA Cup 2nd half. During Half Time i spotted Paul Scholes & Had a picture with England Senior Coach Gary Neville.
The second half got underway 9 Minutes into the Match Salford City Midfielder Jamie Rother scored a scrappy goal on his 100th appearance for them, Then Ashton United ended up being pretty much dominating the Match after the goal had gone in. Ashton United’s Super-Substitution Striker Richard Bennett who scored the equalizer to keep the Robins in the competition during the 90+2 Minute, It wasn’t long after the whistle had blown for Full Time.
I got 4.50PM Bus to Ashton Bus Station then got 5.25PM Bus to Rochdale which arrived at Rochdale Bus Station at 6.23PM i were back for 6.31PM.
My Man of the Match: Richard Bennett (Belongs at League Club far too good for the NPL)

***Away Day Review: Crawley Town v Rochdale @ The Checkatrade.com Stadium***
***Please Note; There were no Pre-Match Drinks & Lots of Pictures***
I got to Spotland Stadium for 7AM, The coach arrived at 7.19AM, It set off at exactly 7.30AM.
The coach pulled into Warwick Services at 9.48AM, I got a Costa Coffee Latte and Were texted by a Bournemouth friend at 10.19AM that Rochdale had Drawn Walsall at Spotland Stadium in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy 2nd Round, We left Warwick Services at 10.35AM
We arrived at The Checkatrade.com Stadium for 1.03PM not much long after the Rochdale Players Coach pulled into the Stadium, Then at 1.15PM we went to meet fellow Rochdale Fan’s at Crawley Train Station it were a trek which took around 30 Minutes, The fellow Rochdale Fan’s didn’t pull in till 2.18PM.
We got back to The Checkatrade.com Stadium just before Kick Off, I got a Homemade Chicken Balti Pie it were beautiful and well worth the £3, Then i went to sit down in my seat the view were very obstructed and the stand look to have been made up of Gig Venue seating.
Rochdale & Crawley Town came out for Kick Off.

The Match Kick Off’s Rochdale’s first half, Within 10 Minutes of the Match Matty Done put Rochdale 1-0 with an cracking goal, It were pretty much end to end action right up till whistle went for Half Time.
The Second Half got underway, Just 9 Minutes into the Match, Peter Vencenti Scored in 54th Minute, then 12 Minutes later he scored again in 66th Minute making it 0-3 to Rochdale, The Red Devil’s were starting to look worst for ware 9 Minutes later in 75th Minute Calvin Andrew scored making it 0-4, Rochdale dominated all right up till 5 Minutes injury time by that time most of Crawley’s crowd had left the ground.
Everyone slowly got back on the coach after fresh air in Sunny Sussex for one last time, Then we had a service stop at Hopwood Park Services at 7.21PM before heading back to Spotland Stadium we pulled in at approximately 9.48PM
My Man of the Match: Matty Done (Most consistent player on the field)
Performance: 9/10, Rochdale AFC played their hearts out

***Away Day Review Football League Trophy Special: Crewe Alexandra v Rochdale @ The Alexandra Stadium***
I got to Spotland Stadium for 4.37PM the coach arrived at 4.49PM then once everyone got on it set off, The journey wasn’t too bad apart from the massive queue which delayed the Journey by least 45 Minutes.
We eventually arrived at The Alexandra Stadium for 6.46PM
Before Kick Off i went to get a Team Sheet then went into the ground were i got possibly one of the worst pies in the league which were £2.70 & possibly one of the nicest coffee’s in the league which were £1.70
The Match kicked off and Saw the Vanishing Spray make it’s first ever appearance in English Football which happened to be a Crewe Free-Kick, Then in the 42nd Minute of the game Matty Done scored the first goal of the Match then whistle went for Half Time.
2nd Half got underway Crewe Alexandra started to look like Accrington Stanley, then just 19 Minutes into 2nd Half in 64th Minute Peter Vincenti scored, Crewe missed a open net not once but twice they were terrible, 24 Minutes later an tap in came from Calvin Andrew in the 88th Minute everyone were in shock or surprised then whistle went for Full Time.
Got the coach back eventually got to Spotland Stadium just before 10.40PM

***Away Day Review: Chesterfield v Rochdale @ The Proact Stadium***
I got picked up at 12PM the journey were relaxing felt strange going by car to an away match, but it were nice about talking about Rochdale on the Journey with fellow Rochdale Fan’s, We arrived at 1.40PM, went to the Ground to get ticket’s so we wasn’t queuing for them.
Then walked for an good five minutes to the nearest pub which were Derby Tup, This pub wasn’t cheap i got an Guinness which came to £3.50 then beore we went got an Half an Guinness which came to £1.70, Then made our way back to The Proact Stadium.
Got to The Proact Stadium for 2.54PM 6 Minutes before kick off, then as requested got an snap of the Food Prices.
Then entered the stadium for Kick Off, The players were coming out for the 1st half
The 1st Half kicked Off no team looked special or like scoring until the 38th Minute when Eoin Doyle scored an Penalty which were rewarded to Chesterfield because of an foul in the Box, then whistle went for Half Time, I got an Steak and Potato Pie which came to £3.50 & an pint of Carling which were £3.60.
Second Half got underway 60 Minutes into the Match Josh Lillis got Injured & were Substituted for Young Rochdale Keeper Jonathan Diba who made his League Debut & The second half entertainment to the singers were provided by their friend in the gold in Chesterfield’s Stand, the chant of the day had to of been “are you the Hooligans” 76 Minutes into the Match Chesterfield managed to get themselves an Penalty which saw Eoin Doyle score again, there were 7 Minutes added for extra time because of the injury to Goalkeeper, Chesterfield claimed they had 5,682 in attendance the ground looked as full as Spotland on an normal match day. Ian Evatt handballed in the box at 90+7 Minutes Rochdale were rewarded an Penalty and first goal of the league season were scored by Ian Henderson then whistle went for Full Time.
We headed back to the car which were parked about 5-10 Minutes Away, I got back around 7PM

***Away Day Review Pre-Season Special: Bury FC 3 – 3 Rochdale AFC XI @ Gigg Lane***
I set off abit later than original planned because of reasons out of my control, I left at 2.42PM had to pop into town then got the 2.55PM 468 which stopped at every stop i got to Bury for 3.39PM, Then made the long walk down to Gigg Lane from the Bury Interchange Bus Station.
I got to Gigg Lane for dead on Half Time to find out we were 3-1 down by the steward, I got an Carlsberg it were warm i think their fridges might be broke, then went out for 2nd Half of the Match were we saw an comeback from with an goal from up and coming Striker Joel Logan then Rochdale had an goal disallowed which would of Leveled the Match 3-3*. But it remained 3-2 thank to the Linesman who didn’t really look up to the Job then The Young up and coming Striker Joel Logan scored to level Rochdale 3-3 with our inferior rivals it finish 3-3 Full Time.
After the Match i walked down to the Swan & Cemetery were got an Guinness chilled out other Dale Fans ended up turning up. We ended up talking to an Bury fan who also supports Newcastle United bless the old guy. We also met an very Passionate Alcoholic Lesbian Bury Fan, she were brilliant then we ended up getting an Bury Taxi back to Rochdale. Then went from Bus wee back from around 7.30PM.

***Away Day Review Pre-Season Special: FC Halifax Town v Rochdale AFC @ The Shay Stadium***
I left at around 2.19PM walked into Town, which didn’t take too long. Then went into San Remo’s were i got an Full Breakfast & an Budweiser at 2.45PM made the short walk to Rochdale Train Station were i ended up getting the 3.10PM train which only took 25 Minutes to get into Halifax at 3.35PM
Then walked down the road got to The Tree Pigeons Pub to find it were shut at 3.44PM which were rather disappointing then walked into Halifax Town Centre saw Sport Direct were having an “CLOSING DOWN SALE” went in and had an look but everything were near enough same price as the website, ten went Pub hunting and ended up going into The White Horse you could tell the place were an rough pub even approached by an hooker who i played dumb when pretending i didn’t know what she wanted. I ended up getting an Carling Top then just left the place.
Then i went to The Railway at 4.39PM which were probably the most expensive pub in Halifax i ended getting an Fosters Top which i ended up finishing then ended up back at the Three Pigeons at 5.15PM were i ended up getting an Blackcurrant Coffee type Stout called something the picture of it is provided then i got an Coke before leaving for the Shay Stadium. I got Pictures of some of the flowers outside the pub
I got in the Ground & Ended up trying out my camera shots from an Sky View angle as it’d be unique and different to the other Photographers which were there and it only being an Pre-Season Friendly
The Players entered the Field for the Match
Then The Match Kicked Off for the First Half Rochdale got dominated by Roses Derby Rival’s Halifax Town with them scoring First Goal in just 6 Minutes of the Match by Danny Schofield then Halifax carried on dominating the game right upto Half Time then the whistle blown.
During Half Time i nipped into Rochdale’s part of the Ground to see who made the short trip to Halifax here’s an Dale Fan Picture
Then as te players were coming out for 2nd Half i made my way back to top of the Main Stand, The 2nd Half Kicked off and just 17 Minutes into the Match during 62nd Minute Substitute Scott Boden scored and made it look it easy (Them Goal Pictures were sent to FC Halifax Town), Halifax Town where then getting dominated by Rochdale when Young Northern Ireland International Callum Camps came on in 63rd Minute for Joe Bunney & also Brian Barry-Murphy were Substituted for Joe Rafferty then 90+4 Minute Callum Camps scored an cracking goal for Rochdale making the Final score 2-1
Then i got the train home were in for around 11PM

***Away Day Review International Special: Wales Under 21 v England Under 21(UEFA EURO 2015 Qualifier) @ Liberty Stadium***
I left Rochdale Train Station at 08.04AM The train were packed and i though Football Day’s were bad for congestion, I arrived with 40 minutes to spare so walked straight to Manchester Piccadilly then popped by Gregg’s for Breakfast were i got an Sausage Bap and an Latte for £2 then wen to Platform 9 and had Breakfast while waiting for the Swansea Train to come in.
I got the 9.30AM Train to Swansea the Journey felt like it were forever, I had my pre-packed lunch on the train down at 12PM then Train arrived in Swansea for 1.55PM, I got an expensive Taxi to the Hotel Ibis on Fabian Way. I ended up with an Cardiff City Fan till around 3PM then at 4PM after a pint in Yates i made my way to the Stadium which took around 40 Minutes as i got lost more than once.
Then 5PM i got a pint at The Harvester while waiting for the Programmes to go out on Sale from FA Wales, Then made my made in the ground the stewards were very helpful and got me into the away section of the stadium, They were only expecting 200 England Fans, I found my seat and chilled out taking pre-match warm up shots of the Players who were out in the ground. Then nipped and got a pie i forgot it were Premier League rates for Food and ended up charged £3.60 for a pie on it’s own there were no Alcohol on Sale yet again due to The FA and FA Wales disallowing it again.
The players entered the Pitch at 7.15PM and sung both countries respective national anthem’s “God Save Our Queen” being first for some reason even though England were the Away side
The Match Kicked Off at 7.30PM, England were very dominant and keep procession of the Ball during the first half with loads attempts on goal then in 17th Minute Nathan Redmond scored an stunning goal what silenced the welsh crowd but just 2 Minutes later in the 19th Minute they equalized thanks to Wales Midfielder Gwion Edwards and the welsh fans were singing again chants like “We hate England” and various other chants, then in 37th Minute Nathan Redmond put England 1-2 infront there were an applause from the England Fans, The Welsh Fans went totally silent then the referee blown for Half Time.
The 2nd Half got underway 11 Minutes into the Match saw England Striker Danny Ings substituted for Saido Berahino just 3 Minutes later saw England Defender James Ward-Prowse Yellow Carded, England were still dominating the match then just 11 Minutes later England Defender Nathaniel Chalobah were Yellow Carded in 70th Minute England Midfielder Tom Ince were substituted for England Striker Harry Kane who were on for just 6 Minutes before ending up injured and Substituted for England Midfielder Jake Caskey who made his debut in 85th Minute it looked like pretty much game over as all the Welsh Fans were leaving the Match so i put my Camera away then in 90+2 Minute of the 4 Minutes added time England scored an 3rd Goal and the stand were rocking then the Referee blown for Full Time.
After the match i ended up waiting nearly 45 Minutes for a Taxi to get back to Hotel Ibis as i weren’t walking back in the rainy weather, i managed to get an picture with England Striker Danny Ings while i were waiting, i ended up back at the hotel for near enough 11PM i got a pint of fosters to celebrate the win
at 11.10PM i decided to call it a night and went to my room to chill out and fall asleep watching Family Guy, i also took an International selfie
The Next Morning i got up early served the internet for about 20 Minutes then went sightseeing aswell as Breakfast hunting it were a trek from Fabian Way back into the centre on the way i stopped off at Sainsbury’s and got an Junior Breakfast with an latte what i demolished in no time then carrying on walking till i reached the city centre i ended up having 1 hour 30 minutes to drain Swansea City Centre who be a shoppers paradise for any woman
I got to the train station for 11.17AM my Train back to Manchester Piccadilly weren’t due in till 11.55AM i ended up getting the train on way back at Cardiff Central i got an snap of the outside of the Millennium Stadium that’s when an blonde pretty student lawyer sat opposite me on the table bit we were talking for abit then she changed at Newport as she were heading into London, Then a pretty Brunette Sports Student got on and sat opposite me we were both heading into Manchester, we talked about alsorts so the hours just flew by she were heading back to Leeds Met the Total Journey took 3 Hours 20 Minutes i arrived into Manchester for 3.15PM then walked down to Manchester Victoria were i ended up getting the 4.48 Train direct to Rochdale i got back for just after 5PM then walked to Bus Stop and got home at 5.40PM

***Away Day Review: Newport County v Rochdale @ Rodney Parade***
I had breakfast and coffee then left Rochdale Train Station at 8.17AM arrived at Manchester Victoria for 8.37AM then walked up to Manchester Piccadilly on the way then found out which platform my train would be on then popped into Sports Direct at 8.45AM to get some Pink Pants there were one problem they were too big then i got 9.30AM train Direct into Newport. I had lunch at 11.10AM. I arrived at 12.35PM, we were counting down the hours and had a laugh. Then got a Taxi went to find Spytty Park a.k.a Newport Stadium which is Newport County’s last stadium and the new home of Llanwern Association Football Club at 1PM.
Then i asked one of the local’s for Taxi number then got Taxi to The Queens Hotel at 1.16PM i arrived there around for 1.30PM. Then went to get a Guinness then took some shots of the Dale Fan’s celebrating outside of The Free House at 1.41PM
Then at 2.35PM everyone from The Queens Hotel got escorted to Rodney Parade over the Newport bridge, where there were an massive queue to get into the stadium itself
I got into Rodney Parade for 2.50PM after queuing up for 15 Minutes then took some Dale Fan pitures just before Kick Off
Then Players came out the makeshift tunnel for the Match at 2.56PM then the Match kicked off
Rochdale were very dominant right up until the 28th Minute when George Donnelly scored taking Rochdale Top of the League then in the 40th Minute Aaron O’Connor scored an easy goal the same one’s Rochdale have missed most of the season, then at Half Time it were 1-1 so i went into the suite for an Half Time drink of Guinness but had to down it as the players were coming back out again
The second Half got underway in 55th Minute Bastien Héry got subbed for Craig Lynch who made his debut for Rochdale, in the 64th Minute Matty Lund got an Yellow Card. Newport County subbed Christian Jolley for Aaron O’Connor. both Newport & Rochdale both missed shots in a matter of minutes, Then George Donnelly got subbed for Joe Bunney in the 71st Minute and also Matty Done replaced Michael Rose, In the 83rd Minute Matty Lund missed an Penalty then just 4 Minutes later Newport County went 2-1 p thanks to an goal from an header of Kevin Feely and we were cheering on Rochdale right up till Full Time
We stayed behind for the Mini-Lap of Honor before heading back to the Queen Hotel were i saw a welsh version of Keith Hill, Then after an Guinness we made our way back to the Train were we saw Southampton Fans who just got back from their match before getting 7.04PM Train direct to Manchester Piccadilly. The Journey actually felt longer than the Journey down i got home for 11.30PM
