***Away Day Review: Mansfield Town 3 – 0 Rochdale AFC @ Field Mill***

I left Rochdale Train Station at 9.04AM, then started my Journey i got into Manchester for 9.26AM then walked upto Piccadilly were i stopped off at Bake & TAKE to get a sausage butty and an latte for £1.99, Then waited for the 10.20AM Train which i had reserved seating to Sheffield

Then from Sheffield i ended up getting the 11.38AM Train to Worksop this took around 30 Minutes reaching Worksop for 12.08PM then from there i went to visit Worksop Town FC on Sandy Lane in Worksop i got to their ground for 12.37PM then were welcomed and got to get some snaps of their ground

Then i got back to the Train Station were i ended up getting the 1.38PM which arrived in Mansfield for 2.07PM then i had to find the Court House Pub which took me around 20 Minutes to find after going though the Shopping Centre and coming out onto the Market, met up with Two Fingers & Niggy the pub itself didn’t seem very welcoming full of Mansfield Casual’s I finished my Guinness and we made our way to the Ground which wasn’t that far from the pub

We arrived well on time for the Hillsborough 25th Anniversary Memorial Minutes Silence for the 96 Fans who never came home from FA Cup Semi-Final back in 1989 at Hillsborough Stadium

Then the Match Kicked Off the crowd got behind Rochdale in the 1st half so got chances were missed but it were just our luck to get another Referee who didn’t know what they were doing Mansfield Town Footballers found every opportunity to dive on the Ground you could tell this side had previously been in Conference Then just before Half Time i went to get some food and a drink the IPA Bottles were just a Whooping £1.50 and an Sausage Roll were just £1.50 so i ended up getting two of them and a sausage roll which came to £4.50, the stewards were relaxed with everyone this season at Field Mill and were welcoming they said they had more trouble of Little Accrington Stanley than they did off Scunthorpe United…

Then we went back in for the second half were i changed my seat to down near the front the second half Rochdale were starting to look weakened and getting played off the park by the Former Conference then in 66th Minute there were a Double Substitution  for Rochdale which saw Peter Vincenti taken off for Graham Cummins & Matty Lund taken off for Jason Kennedy then just 5 Minutes later in  71st Minute Martin Riley scored from a header putting Mansfield 1-0 up then just 9 Minutes later in 80th Minute Mansfield’s Ollie Palmer were taken off for Samuel Clucas then 6 Minutes later in 86th Minute things went from bad to worse as Mansfield’s Matthew Rhead also scored from an Header,  We called it a day and left Field Mill were just Minutes later Mansfield scored a 3rd Goal to put a nail in the coffin…

I walked it back to the Train Station which wasn’t far and jumped on the train were i ended up in Nottingham were you could hear Vale Fan’s chanting in the centre we went to the weatherspoons in Nottingham were Wigan ended up 1-0 up through a Penalty at Wembley Stadium i got an Guinness which were £2.99 then we went for the Manchester Train i got home for around 9.44PM
